Challenge

Blue Eden, a blueberry farm and maker of 100% natural soaps and oils, wanted to bring its handcrafted soaps to high-end spas across the East Coast and needed a refreshed label design that communicated the brand’s natural, clean, and vintage farmhouse aesthetic. The packaging also needed to feel elevated enough to appeal to spas while balancing vintage farmhouse charm. We were tasked with creating product imagery that would support the brand across marketing and sales materials.

Deliverables

Label, product photography.

Design

The design for the soap label needed to feel clean, timeless, and elevated. We chose white as the primary color to create a clean foundation that allowed the product to feel fresh and refined. Botanical illustrations were incorporated for a nature-inspired quality, and reflect the natural ingredients used in the soaps.

A restrained color palette helped create a more sophisticated feel, with a misty blue serving as the primary accent. Inspired by natural elements such as the sky and water, the blue also draws on the calming associations commonly connected with spas and skincare. Together, the soft botanical imagery, minimal color, and clean white space create a label that balances natural simplicity with a premium aesthetic.

Photography

For the Blue Eden photoshoot we wanted to showcase the products while highlighting the natural ingredients at the heart of the brand. Ingredients used within the products were incorporated into the styling, paired with organic elements like wood and plants to create depth and visual interest. Shooting with natural early morning sunlight reinforced the brands authenticity, connection to nature, and the handmade quality of the products.
